I would caution against using any so-called Master Trainer that continuously brags about being a Master Trainer all over their website. As there is no actual certifying body, this is a title they gave themselves - unless he is a graduate of a training school such as Tarheel in NC that uses that title to denote graduation of their police canine course. Especially one that discusses training tools, but doesn’t even use the proper name of many training tools nor does he discuss their proper use. If you are considering using him, ask for evidence that the tools do what he claims. Ask to see visible proof of his training process that gets a dog to do behaviors based on his “voice” only. Don’t look at a dog he claims to have trained this way and think “oh this training method works” look at dogs in the process of being trained. A majority of trainers that claim to never use treats or aversive tools anywhere in their process are scam artists. I, admittedly, have never trained under this individual and, speaking as a professional trainer, never would. There is no one size fits all approach to dog training and anyone that pretends there is (refuses the use of tools) is a fool. All dogs don’t need tools, but some do!
EDIT: It’s interesting that your response kind of proves the majority of low reviews you have - the arrogance your business displays. The expectations that someone reads your whole website before coming to you for training. Kind of interesting that if you’re such a master trainer that has been doing this for over 40 years that no one outside of Ohio really knows anything about you and the majority of trainers in Ohio laugh at you. Your website reads like a “as seen on TV” product I’d find on an aisle in Walmart that falls apart a week after you have it. I’ll take the advice of the Cam Ford’s, Glen Cooke’s, Jerry Bradshaw’s, Ivan Balbinov’s etc (all of which use training tools CORRECTLY without harming animals as you claim) over someone that outright demonstrates they don’t really know anything about the modern tools they are denigrating!

I would advise against using this trainer. I had a very uncomfortable phone conversation with him. Frankly, I hung up the phone feeling afraid of this man. I felt that he barely asked any questions about my dog or my current level of training. Instead, he touted his own success stories. I felt that he was speaking in an aggressive tone. I felt that it was almost impossible to get a word in. He seemed more concerned with showing his own dominance and success than learning about my problem and discussing my options. I felt that he was demeaning each time I attempted to speak. And he repeatedly insulted the trainer I chose to use for basic obedience (even after I repeatedly told him that I had a wonderful experience with this trainer, and left his care with the utmost respect). Side note: he was not familiar with who this trainer was. When I asked about training methods, I felt that he became increasingly agitated, suggesting that it was not his responsibility to explain himself. At this point, I chose to leave the conversation.

Called this place to get a ballpark understanding of the pricing because I'm thinking of getting 2 dogs, and the phone attendant gave me a smart answer about reading the website. He could not share the average amount of time it takes to train a dog nor any figures on pricing. He was very rude and if this is the attitude I'd have to deal with when it came to my dogs Ohio State K-9 would have to worry about more than a bad review. I say stay away from any place like this.
