MSI sold us a Zermat quartzite slab for a counter stating that it was a durable material. After having the countertop for 1 year the stone is changing by showing striations and splotches. We contacted MSI who sent out a consultant who photographed and documented the changes but they decided to not do anything about the problem stating they do not warranty or backup their products.
We purchased this slab under the impression that it wouldn't change under normal use. I guess they will tell you what you want to hear to make a buck. This is very unfortunate because now we are out a lot of money and we either have to live with a counter that rapidly changes or start over and have new counters put in.
Beware that you may spend thousands of dollars on a product that you are told will last forever when actually they sell you a bad product with a huge markup.

BEWARE, product is nothing like the pictures they advertise! We bought 100 s/f of Golden Honey stacked stone. What we got was white stacked stone with a greenish tint. No golden color or warmth whatsoever! MSI says its color variations of natural stone. I bought Golden Honey and they sent me greenish stone, color variation or just plain misleading the customer. I returned it all and rebought a month later thinking by now they would have some stone similar to what they advertised. The second delivery was very similar to the first, ugly green stone with a fleck of gold in every 3rd piece. Don't waste your time ordering stacked stone from MSI, they have no clue that what they are shipping does not resemble the product that they advertise. In the picture I've attached the right side is what they advertise and the left side is what they sent, completely different!

UPDATE: 09/24/24 I called the number provided and no response. I was sent there warranty terms and service where MSI list over 24 scenarios that are not covered under their “Lifetime Warranty.” I called left my number and nobody gets back with me. Coming up on 4 weeks now. This is definitely not the process I thought I would have to go through to be able to use my lifetime warranty. I will also file a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General as the warranty is gross misrepresentation of the truth and a potential violation of the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act and Colorado Consumer Protection Act. You can’t pretend you have warranty, market it as such,
then proceed to not cover any and nearly all possible situations.
MSI states that they have a one-year warranty. I have had my supplier reach out to them and it has been three weeks of no answer. I purchased a top-of-the-line MSI countertop. It’s a level eight of nine. Less than eight months in it has already chipped. So far, MSI says they will not cover it, Have not been responsive at all, Have not offered any way to fix it, Have not even bothered to reach out to me. Truly, and utterly unprofessional. Again, I purchased their so-called “top of the line” material.
