Etsy is a difficult business to deal with. If the purchase product isn't on their app there is no way you can get your money back. My product was posted on an email I do not use. Etsy is not helping me find the product. The company NestNova sent the wrong order and both companies are not helping. The website is not user friendly...they are making it very difficult to correct their error! I ordered a beanie with the name Mom...they sent one that says Moin

This site is a scam, I created my company recently and wanted to sell my items on Etsy. I set up everything succesfully and paid the 20$ fee, and they suspended me shortly after without a valid explanation. I filed an appeal, they answered shortly after maintaining their decision, and I couldn't even set up an account with them anymore. I did absolutely nothing wrong. I cannot call them or even send an email. What a trash company. Sue if you have the patience, or steer clear. I wish I had read the reviews first !

I’m a small creator from Malaysia who opened an Etsy shop on October 5, 2025, selling my original digital wellness planner. I paid RM79 to list my first item, verified my details, and followed all policies.
Within days, Etsy suspended my account without clear reason. I appealed with full proof — product screenshots, emails, and mailbox verification — only to receive a generic denial from their “Trust & Safety” team, refusing to explain what I supposedly violated.
I was never refunded and was permanently banned from creating any new account. As a genuine first-time seller who invested sincerely, this experience was deeply discouraging and financially unfair.
I hope Etsy improves its transparency and communication with small sellers, especially international ones. Until then, I cannot recommend the platform to new creators.
