I gave this three stars because the house itself was in a great location and suited our needs, however there was very little care given to the house. All the details that make a guest house a nice place to stay, were missing. Whenever you have to ask for things constantly, you know you can probably find something better.

We only stayed for two nights in Hopkins, in the upstairs bedroom. The room was clean and cozy. The balcony provided a wonderful view of the sea. The private little beach was quiet and lounge chairs provided were perfect for soaking up the sun. The door to the bedroom was difficult to open and we had a bit of a fight to get in and out. The room could have used a small coffee maker but there are restaurants very close to get food and drinks. The refrigerator came in handy to keep drinks cold. Overall, it was a nice quick stay at the beach house.
