I had Dale come fix our top oven. He did fix the top oven but a couple weeks later I went to broil in my lower over for the first time since the repair and it would not work. The broil was working before he worked on the top oven. We contacted Dale to let him know and asked him to come look at it since he was the last person only a couple weeks ago to work on the oven. He would not without charging us again. I do not think that is the right way to run a business. It's frustrating and now I still have a broken part of my oven.

The Positive:
1. I didn’t have to wait hardly at all for an appointment; he came the day after I requested an appointment.
2. He was incredibly friendly and worked very, very quickly. Some places that charge by the hour can really drag their feet.
3. Besides the call out fee, he only charged me for half an hour when he was there about an hour.
The Problem:
1. I had sent him ahead of time a list of what I had already done tried to fix my leaking dishwasher. He checked everything I had already checked or replaced and couldn’t figure out why it was leaking. He raised the front feet because he said the tub should be slightly oriented on a slant front to back. I questioned that saying the leaking had begun suddenly and recently and the tub orientation had been the same for years.
2. After testing the washer and finding it to still leak, he told me to fix my upper rack because it was sagging and probably causing the leaking. Again, it had been sagging for quite a long time and I’d never had leaking before.
3. He left me with a leaking dishwasher and charged me $136. Look, I understand I am paying for his time but there really should be some sort of guarantee. I mean *I* could go to someone’s house, not fix anything, and charge $136.
4. Spoiler alert: I repaired the upper rack and it did nothing. I finally watched yet ANOTHER YouTube DIY repair and discovered it might be that the lower washer arm had split, causing water to shoot straight at the door instead of up at the plates. I removed and examined it aaaaaaaand Bingo!! Replaced the lower arm (stupid easy, btw) and I no longer have any manner of leaking.
That feels like a pretty big miss for a dishwasher repairman.
