I use to love coming here, until I noticed a pattern. Regular customers being bumped for customers who will NEVER return because they live out of state! This has happened to me twice. As a small business owner myself, I would never do this to my regular customers. I’m saddened and disappointed that I will no longer frequent this establishment. The nail in the coffin, was when I was told to call and schedule my next session since they were “busy busy” today. 😳. Truly unacceptable!

Called to book a full arm wax, website says $35 and woman on the phone says $35, yet when I get there, halfway through my wax she tells me it’s $45 now because they changed their prices….. ok whatever no big deal. Then she starts waxing my arm, bruising and pulling off my skin! Most painful wax I have ever had and she missed so many areas. I don’t think she has ever waxed someone before. Honestly it was unsanitary too, she double dipped in the wax, and then used some roller wax thing on my arm, without even sanitizing/disinfecting the roller before/after use.
feel ripped off that I even paid for this wax, I mean I had to tell her to stop because she was literally pulling my skin off!!! How unprofessional. I wish I could go back in time and never come here or get my money back. Now my arms are going to look like an abuse victims at my graduation day 🙄

I originally gave 2 stars, but have since changed to 1, because after pain went away I noticed alot of hair was still there.

I went in for a Brazilian wax and the only reason I gave 2 stars, is because all hair was removed. However, that was the only positive thing about this business. I am a licensed esthetician in Florida who not only worked in a salon, but taught as well. I just moved to Michigan and know there are certain state laws that definitely go from one state to the next. First, I was not made to fill out a client consultation or intake card. Which is a must in every service performed. How does she know if I'm on medication that could thin my blood and cause me to bleed easier or not, because she definitely didn't ask. Second, she didn't use a skin prep solution to clean the area to be waxed before she began waxing. Not doing so could cause irritation bumps. Third, and this is a big one, NO GLOVES WERE USED DURING THE SERVICE! Not only is that a private area that my doctor doesn't even touch without gloves, but I'm a bleeder. How does she know, or me for that fact, that the other doesn't have HIV? Luckily I don't and I pray she doesn't as well! Lastly, when the post wax solution was applied to remove excess wax/ tackiess, no gauze or cotton was used to apply it. She literally applied from the bottle straight to me and then rubbed in with her bare hands! I recommend not going to Vada for a waxing of any kind. She may be professional at other things, I don't know, but waxing is definitely not one of them!
